Arrest Blotter: Police make arrests for robbery, illegal entry & indecent assault

Robbery, human trafficking, illegal entry and indecent assault were some of the reasons for arrest on January 22 to February 4, 2023, according to the Arrest Blotter of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) on February 7, 2023.

See arrest matters below:

ROBBERY

  1. On 31-01-2023 at 1520hrs, Police arrested and charged Jordon Jackson, 23, of Purcell Estate for Robbery. He is to appear before Magistrate’s Court. 
  2. On 31-01-20223 at 1555hrs, Police arrested and charged Royanson Arrington, 31 of Purcell Estate for Robbery. He is to appear before Magistrate’s Court. 

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED DRUG

On 01-02-2023 at 1020hrs, Police arrested and charged Kenron Rollinson Fergus, 28, of No Fixed Place of Abode for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply.

INDECENT ASSAULT

On 01-02-2023 at 1402hrs, Police arrested and charged a 53-year-old male of Sea Cows Bay on two counts of Indecent Assault and one count of Cruelty to Child. He is to appear before Magistrate’s Court.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

On 03-02-2023 at 2353hrs, Police arrested and charged Genette Colastin, 38, of Pockwood Pond for Human Trafficking. He is to appear before Magistrate’s Court.

RESISTING ARREST

On the 24-01-2023 about 0935hrs, Police arrested and charged Kadeem Callwood, 20, of Cane Garden Bay for Common Assault, Resisting Arrest, Assault on a Police Officer and Escape Lawful Custody. He was granted bail to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 24-03-2023.

ILLEGAL ENTRY

On 25/01/2023 at 1210hrs, Police arrested and charged Luis Armando Freites, staying at the Castle Maria Hotel, for Illegal Entry. He appeared before Magistrate’s Court where he plead guilty, was fined $5,000 and subsequently handed over to the Immigration Department for deportment.

ASSAULT CAUSING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 27-01-2023 at 0923hrs, Police arrested and charged Theron Harry, 27, of Carrot Bay for Threatening Language and Assault Causing Actual Body Harm. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 16-03-2023.
