Controversial and outspoken pastor and social commentator, Mr Claude O. Skelton-Cline has called on the people of the Virgin Islands (VI) to get prepared for what he called a 6-month prophecy of chaos and famine to impact the Territory.
Skelton-Cline's chilling words came on yesterday's July 30, 2020, edition of the 'Honestly Speaking' show, even as the Territory is facing the COVID-19 pandemic and is in the middle of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
US & Trump Presidency
"Prepare for a 6-month drought, famine, chaos that we see ensuing in the United States of America, particularly where most of our imports, most of the things that we eat... where they come from."
The pastor said September 2020 is the starting point of these prophetic events as a result of the Trump presidency and attempts to delay the 2020 US elections, coupled with the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic in America.
"Donald Trump as President of the United States does not have the power in law to postpone or delay the presidential election, but what he does have is the power to create the kind of conditions in America that makes the elections on November 3rd, improbably."
Skelton-Cline warned that Mr Trump may move to create conditions for upheaval and civil unrest in the streets of the US and which could come where there is poor handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in key export states.
Stockpile food & medical essentials - Skelton-Cline
"I'm saying to you, that we must begin to prepare now, not only as families but as a nation. Government needs to speak to suppliers about what's happening, some meeting needs to be called and they need to ramp up shipments for essentials."
He said shipments must not only cover food, but also medical supplies and all essentials needed for survival for at least 6 months.
He said for families who cannot afford to stock up for 6 months, can start to stockpile items incrementally as part of their preparations for the prophetic event.
