Carrot Bay man charged for allegedly attempting to murder ex-girlfriend
A Carrot Bay man has been arrested and charged for allegedly attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, Wakeem Guishard, 32, was arrested while in his home community of Carrot Bay on December 15, 2020.
It is alleged that earlier this month, following an incident with his ex-girlfriend, he shot at her vehicle.
Prior to shooting at her vehicle, Guishard allegedly placed a gun to the woman’s head and threatened to kill her.
Our newsroom was told that it was while the woman was driving away, that he allegedly fired at least two shots at her vehicle.
Guishard is charged for Possession of Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, Attempted Murder and Common Assault.
