Hazardous marine conditions expected later today- DDM

Rising swells will make for hazardous marine conditions for some coastlines, starting later today, September 11, 2022, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has stated.

According to DDM; however, despite the presence of a tropical wave, shower activity will be limited.

"Meanwhile, rising swells will make for hazardous marine conditions for some coastlines, starting later today," DDM stated.
Weather today: Partly sunny with a 40 percent or a moderate chance of showers.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or a moderate chance of showers, mainly after midnight.
Winds: East at 11 to 20 km/h or 7 to 13 mph.
Seas: 1 to 1.5 meters or 3 to 5 ft. Swells are northeast and rising to 1.5 meters or 5 feet tonight. A high surf advisory goes into effect tonight.
