The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is forecasting lingering moisture and instability from the passage of Hurricane Elsa for Saturday, July 3, 2021.
The DDM says this will lead to a heightened chance of cloudiness and showers today and tonight across the Leeward Islands and the Virgin Islands.

For today the weather is partly cloudy with a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers and tonight, the forecast will be partly cloudy with a 30 percent or low chance of showers.

Further, the DDM says that winds will flow from East-southeast at 15 to 30 km/h or 8 to 18 mph and seas 1.5 to 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet.

A small craft advisory remains in effect but could be lifted today.
