New BVILOVE e-magazine puts spotlight on Gov’t Projects

The Government of the Virgin Islands (VI) has rolled out a new ‘BVILOVE e-magazine’, aimed at putting the spotlight on Government projects in the Virgin Islands.

The e-Magazine, which saw its launch on January 25, 2021, will focus on the Government’s 2021 Budget Theme: “Innovation - Building a Stable, Diverse, Competitive Economy with Strong Industries and Partnerships for Regional and International Trade, by Building and Harnessing the Creative Capacity of our Human Capital.”

Speaking on the launch of the monthly e-magazine, Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) said, the government remained committed to the development of Virgin Islanders.

“Your Government is passionate about the development of our people. We are passionate about the development of this economy, and we are passionate about the present and future success of the Virgin Islands.”

The Premier added, “Together, working with you, we will continue to do our part to ensure that we put opportunities of empowerment to strengthen our economy.”

A release from the Government Information Services noted that the magazine will chronicle several Government projects and will include cross-ministry initiatives aligned with the 2021 Budget and Legislative Agenda.

The monthly e-magazine can be accessed by emailing GovEmag@gov.vg or downloaded from the website of the Government Information Service (GIS) by visiting bvi.gov.vg.
