VI Registrar General Stephanie P. Benn passes
Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that Virgin Islands (VI) Registrar General, Ms Stephanie P. Benn passed away tonight, October 24, 2022.
Sources have indicated that Ms Benn passed away in Puerto Rico, however, it remains unclear the cause of death.
Since the news, the Government moments ago announced that the Civil Registry and Passport Office will be closed to the public on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
"Persons can contact the Public Service Customer Service Care Centre at 468-3701 or email the department at firstname.lastname@example.org," a statement tonight said.
The office has noted that it regrets any inconvenience caused.
