USVI masters ballers ‘eager to come’- Karl M. Scatliffe

Mr Scatliffe told our newsroom that after having the 40 Plus league for years, there was a need to get local teams exposed so he reached out to associations in St Thomas and St Croix “as they had just finished their league and they had the same idea and were eager to come also, so that’s where the idea came from.”

The Director said 4 teams will play each other over the weekend for bragging rights and to see who the best is in the Master’s Category.

“The intention is to play for a prize money and hopefully we can find a sponsor by then.”

Mr Scatliffe also said there will be prizes, surprises, giveaways and entertainment for patrons.
